Comparison
delEat and Foodics, side by side.
A cloud POS and restaurant management system, with payments of its own.1,7 This page sets out where the two differ for a restaurant in the UAE, using only what Foodics publishes about itself, read on 25 and 26 September 2026. Where its pages say nothing, the table says so.
Row by row
delEat and Foodics, on what a UAE restaurant checks.

Where delEat is different
The differences that change a shift.
- VAT by legal entity, for the UAE
- In delEat each outlet trades under its own legal entity and TRN, the document it prints follows that registration, and credit notes run on their own series. The Foodics pages we read say nothing specific to UAE VAT.
- Priced per outlet, tills unlimited
- delEat’s plans are per outlet, with unlimited tills and handhelds on every one. Foodics’s UAE pricing page does not say what a bundle price covers.
- Recipe costing on the Shift plan
- Recipes are costed from the ingredient, with live margin, from the Shift plan. The Foodics pages we read list inventory and do not describe recipe costing.
Where delEat falls short
What Foodics has, or delEat does not do yet.
- Foodics has payments and hardware of its own7,6. delEat has neither: you keep your acquirer and buy standard hardware.
- Foodics’s marketplace lists Careem and Noon Food today5. delEat connects the delivery apps through UrbanPiper, and our team sets them up during onboarding.
- delEat’s import from Foodics is mapped but untested, so it is on request.
- Coming soon, and not in delEat today: a read API with keys, mall reports by SFTP, card payment at the self-service kiosk, a rider app, e-invoicing and SSO and directory sync.
