Module 34 · Command and up

An entity and a TRN per outlet, and the right invoice every time.

Each outlet trades as its own legal entity with its own TRN, and every document it issues follows that registration. A watcher keeps an eye on the registration threshold, and the VAT figure is kept per TRN.

How it works

Register, trade, watch the line.

Set up the entityA legal entity and a 15-digit TRN per outlet, or one TRN shared across a tax group.
Issue the right documentA tax invoice or an invoice by registration, and a credit note on its own series for every refund.
Watch the thresholdTaxable sales over twelve months against the two registration lines, checked at every month end.

What is in it

UAE VAT, feature by feature.

The thresholds are the UAE's own: AED 375,000 of taxable supplies to register, AED 187,500 to register voluntarily. delEat keeps the records; it does not file your return with the FTA.

An entity per outlet

Legal name, trade name, licence number and a 15-digit TRN, shared across a tax group where there is one.

The issuer, frozen

The supplier’s name and TRN are written onto each order when it is placed, so a later change never rewrites an old invoice.

The right title on the slip

A registered outlet prints a tax invoice and one that is not prints an invoice, and a tax invoice always carries the company name and TRN. No template can override either.

Credit notes on their own series

A refund raises a credit note on a number series of its own, per outlet, naming the invoice it reverses.

VAT per TRN

Taxable sales, VAT, credit notes and the net figure for each TRN, by month or quarter, out to CSV.

The threshold watcher

Taxable sales over the last twelve months against AED 187,500 and AED 375,000, checked at each month end, with a warning at 90 percent and a date to apply by.

Never switched on by itself

Changing an entity’s VAT position takes a signed declaration, kept word for word.

E-invoicing Coming soon

delEat does not issue electronic invoices yet.

Business tax invoices

From any settled order, a full-page tax invoice with the buyer’s company name, address and TRN, picked from saved business accounts or typed in. Once issued the buyer is locked: a change needs a manager and prints a Revised note, so one invoice never quietly carries two buyers.

Questions it answers

The four you will ask it first.

  • Which TRN does this outlet trade under?
  • How close is this entity to the registration threshold?
  • What is the VAT for each TRN this quarter?
  • Which invoice does this credit note reverse?

Before you believe it

The two questions everyone asks.

Does delEat file our VAT return?

No. It keeps the invoices, credit notes and the VAT per TRN straight, and gives you the figures to hand to your tax agent.

Does it switch VAT on when we cross the threshold?

No. It warns you as you approach it and gives a date to apply by. Changing an entity’s VAT position takes a signed declaration.
