Mall sales reporting

Mall sales reporting from the till, for UAE malls.

delEat sends each mall outlet’s daily Gross Turnover (GTO) to the mall from the till: on the basis its lease names, for the business day the outlet sets, as a download, an email, an HTTPS push or a read-only feed. It is in every plan, a changed figure is resent as a correction, and every report sent is kept.

What delEat sends the mall

The GTO your lease asks for, from the till’s own sales.

Mall leases in the UAE often set a turnover rent on the GTO an outlet reports. delEat prepares it from the sales the till already holds, so nobody types it in.

What it sends
Each outlet’s daily Gross Turnover (GTO), the sales figure a mall lease uses for turnover rent, prepared from the till’s own sales.
The basis
The one each lease names, per outlet: net or gross of discounts, with or without VAT and service charge, whether delivery orders count, and how refunds are treated.
The business day
As each outlet sets it, which can run past midnight. Figures are in dirhams.
How it reaches the mall
A download (CSV or JSON) for the mall’s portal, an email with the report attached, a direct HTTPS push or a read-only feed for the mall’s own sales collector.
SFTP
Coming soon Not available today; the four routes above are.
A mall’s own layout
Added once the mall shares its specification.
Corrections
A late refund that changes a sent day is flagged, and the day is resent as a correction.
The record
Every report sent is kept, with a log of what went, when and where.
Past days
Backfilled from the full sales history, history imported from your previous POS included.
Several malls
Each outlet has its own profile and schedule, so a group in several malls sends each mall its own report.
Plan and price
In every plan, at no extra cost, from AED 149 per outlet a month on a two-year term, 169 billed yearly or 199 monthly. Off by default; someone with the permission switches it on per outlet.

How it works

Set, send, keep.

Set the lease basisSomeone with the permission switches it on per outlet and sets the basis its lease names: discounts, VAT, service charge, delivery and refunds.
Send it dailyAfter the business day closes, the GTO goes to the mall as a download for its portal, an email with the report attached, a direct HTTPS push or a read-only feed. Past days backfill from the full history.
Keep the recordEvery report sent is kept, a changed figure is flagged and resent as a correction, and each delivery is logged.

Questions

The questions people ask first.

Which POS sends daily sales to the mall in the UAE?

delEat sends each outlet’s daily GTO to the mall straight from the till, on the basis its lease names, as a download, an email, an HTTPS push or a read-only feed. It is in every plan, from AED 149 per outlet a month on a two-year term, 169 billed yearly or 199 monthly.

What is GTO?

Gross Turnover: the sales figure a mall lease uses to work out turnover rent. Each lease says which sales count, so delEat follows the lease outlet by outlet.

Is it available now?

Yes, and it is in every plan. Someone with the permission switches it on per outlet. It is off by default.

How does the report reach our mall?

Each mall sets its own format. delEat reports as a download (CSV or JSON), an email with the report attached, a direct HTTPS push to the mall’s system, or a read-only feed for the mall’s own sales collector. SFTP delivery is coming soon. Where a mall needs its own file layout, delEat will add it once the mall shares its specification.

Which sales count as GTO?

The ones your lease names. Each outlet’s profile follows its lease: net or gross of discounts, with or without VAT and service charge, whether delivery orders count, and how refunds are treated.

What if a figure changes after it is sent?

A late refund that changes a sent day is flagged, and the day is resent as a correction. Every report sent is kept, with a log of what went, when and where.

Can one group report to several malls?

Yes. Each outlet has its own lease basis, format and schedule, so every mall gets its own report.

Can it send days from before we joined?

Yes. Past days backfill from the sales history, including history imported from your previous POS.

Does mall reporting cost extra?

No. It is in every plan, from AED 149 per outlet a month on a two-year term, 169 billed yearly or 199 monthly.
