Restaurant POS · Dubai and the UAE
A restaurant POS built in Dubai, for the way the UAE trades.
delEat runs the till, the kitchen screens, the floor, stock and the books in one system, in any browser. Each outlet keeps its own TRN, the service screens run in Arabic as well as English, prices are in dirhams, and support is a person in Dubai, any hour.
What is specific to the UAE
What a restaurant here needs from its POS, and how delEat does it.
- VAT
- A legal entity and TRN per outlet. Each document follows its outlet’s registration, credit notes run on their own series, and a watcher tracks the AED 375,000 and AED 187,500 thresholds. UAE VAT for restaurants.
- Arabic
- The till, the kitchen display, the floor, shift and cash-up, reservations, orders and clock-in run in Arabic, right to left. Receipts can print their headings in Arabic beside the English; the other screens are English only. What runs in Arabic.
- Prices
- Dirhams to the fil, with VAT inside the price. VAT is backed out of the menu price rather than added on top, and the business day closes at 02:00 by default, when service here actually ends.
- Delivery
- Talabat, Careem, Deliveroo, Noon Food, EatEasy, Smiles and Keeta, through UrbanPiper. Our team connects your stores for you during setup. Delivery platforms.
- Payments
- Your acquirer and your rate at the till. No per-transaction fee on any plan. Online orders are paid through Stripe, Telr or N-Genius.
- People
- A WPS salary file and end-of-service gratuity. Emirates ID, visa, labour card and health card kept on file with expiry warnings, and a GPS-fenced clock-in.
- Outlet costs
- DEWA and gas meters, rent with its Ejari number and its cheques. All of it feeds the profit and loss by outlet.
- Moving over
- Sapaad is tested. Menu, customers, staff, floor plan and up to 8.5 years of sales history. Foodics, Square and Lightspeed are mapped but untested, so they are on request.
- Support
- A person in Dubai, any hour of any day. Live chat, not a ticket queue.
- Price
- From AED 149 per outlet a month on a 2-year term. Unlimited tills and handhelds. Thirty days free, no card. Pricing.

Questions
The questions people ask first.
Is delEat built in the UAE?
Yes. delEat is made in Dubai by The Hungry Inc., a company licensed in the Meydan Free Zone, and it was built on the floor of The Bhukkad Café’s restaurants. Support is a person in Dubai, any hour.
Does delEat handle UAE VAT?
Each outlet trades under its own legal entity and TRN, prints a tax invoice or an invoice as its registration says, and raises credit notes on their own series. delEat keeps the records for you and your tax agent; it does not file your return, and it does not issue e-invoices yet.
Does it work in Arabic?
