Module 25 · Every plan

The order, facing the guest, as it is rung.

A second screen facing the guest at the till: the order as it is rung, the total with VAT, the amount to pay with a QR, and a thank-you with the change.

How it works

Faced, itemised, paid.

  1. A till station mid-serviceOn a tablet
    01Pair the screen

A six-digit code from the till, good once for ten minutes, pairs a tablet to that till.

  2. A cafe counter with regularsOn a tablet
02Show the line as it is rung

Each item appears with its modifiers and its price, while it is still cheap to change.

  3. A bar counter lined with bottles and glasswareOn a tablet
    03Take the tip

A tip prompt on the guest’s side of the counter, and a QR to pay by phone when the outlet has a pay link.

What is in it

Customer display, feature by feature.

The display switches between English and Arabic with one button in the corner, and shows the total in dirhams with "VAT 5% included" beneath it.

Line by line

Each item appears as it is added, with modifiers and price, so the guest checks it while it is still cheap to change.

Any tablet, paired to one till

Open /cds in a browser and type the six-digit code from the till. The display only ever shows that till’s order.

Tips without the awkward bit

The tip prompt is on the guest’s side, when the outlet asks for one, never on the cashier’s.

Idle screen

Your brand, the outlet’s name and up to three of today’s offers, when nobody is being served.

Idle screen

English and Arabic

One button in the corner switches the language, and day and night follow the device.

Before you believe it

The three questions everyone asks.

What do I need?

Any tablet or screen with a browser. Open the till’s address with /cds on it, and type the six-digit code the till shows under Customer display.

Can two tills share one display?

No. A display is paired to one till, so the screen beside till 1 never shows till 2’s order.

Does the guest have to touch it?

Only to choose a tip, when the outlet asks for one. Everything else changes by itself as the till works.
